About Us
Family run for over 100 years: Founded in the late 19th Century originally making specialist and replacement locks and Architectural hardware for local industries and utility companies, Birchills has always been known as a family run firm with family run values.
In the late 40's Birchills produced replacement locks for use in the refitting of the original R.M.S. Queen Mary. In the Early 70's the company ventured into the exhaust component market and it is from this base we pushed forward supplying both original and after sales markets, mass produced or performance, providing an extensive catalogue of components in all materials.
New ranges have been introduced in recent years, firstly motorcycle bike components and straps closely followed by an ever growing range of tail trims - round, oval and square type profiles, mirror polished and available in most instances off the shelf. As indeed are the majority of our 304 stainless and specialised ranges. Together with our extensive collection of baffles, rolled ends and indigenous half shell tooling we have gained a reputation for innovation and flexibility to be proud of!

In Recent years Birchills has expanded into Square / Rectangular Steel Washer Manufacturing. Utilizing its large presswork capabilities and upgrading its shearing capacity up to 25mm it can cut virtually any size and has the capability to produce special washers for rapid turnaround from its large in house steel stocks.
Birchills Automotive Washers Limited is a leading steel washer manufacturer specialising in standard & non standard special washer plates, square plate washers, holding down bolts and pressings in various materials. We have supplied steel washers to the Olympic 2012 Project, the reconstruction of Wembley Stadium and numerous Civil Works.
Our products can be supplied throughout Europe and rest of the World.
